Plenum Cables

NEPTCO's flame retardant laminates are most frequently used in cables approved by UL for installation without conduit in air handling plenums.

This category 5 shielding tape is a low-smoke and low-flame shielding tape. It decreases both average and peak smoke generation characteristics during all U.S. smoke and flame tests, including the Steiner tunnel test (UL910), the riser cable test (UL1666) and the general purpose vertical tray test (UL1581).

Typical Applications:

Cables designed for installation without conduit in air handling plenums.
Situations where an indoor/outdoor cable requires riser or plenum ratings to meet UL or other specifications.
Fire alarm (FPLP) cable.
