PAWTUCKET, R.I., February 2, 2009– NEPTCO announces the opening of its new distribution facility in Heerjansdam, Netherlands. NEPTCO European Distribution Center is located 20 KM’s south of Rotterdam and will serve customers throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

The facility will support NEPTCO’s substantial European, African and Middle East customer base by distributing fiber optic cable components including LIGHTLINE® GRP and FLEXLINE® flexible glass strength elements in both water blocking and non water blocking versions. AQUABLOK® water blocking and POWERLINE® power cable tapes will also be in stock at the distribution center.
Shielding tape laminates for wire and cable manufacturers, and electronic packaging tapes to various semiconductor fabricators operating in the region can also be stocked at the distribution center as customer demand dictates. The distribution facility is designed to provide NEPTCO customers with local inventory, same day shipping and outstanding service.

The NEPTCO distribution site will follow the same quality guidelines long established at the company’s U.S. facilities and utilize NEPTCO’s central computer system that will ensure seamless customer service to our Global customer base.
